1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Akai ito (the "App") and our website (https://akaiito.in). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age and a currently enrolled or verified college student to use Akai ito. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and are legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to register, and we reserve the right to verify eligibility and to suspend or remove accounts that do not meet it.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and onboarding, and to keep it updated. One person may hold only one account. Notify us immediately at support@akaiito.in of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use & Community Conduct

Akai ito is a community built on respect. You agree not to: impersonate any person; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; post or share content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, violent, or that infringes others' rights; solicit money or promote commercial services; use the App for spam, scams, or data harvesting; or attempt to access, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the App or its systems.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. While we provide safety tools such as reporting and blocking, we do not conduct criminal background checks and are not responsible for the conduct of any user. Exercise caution and good judgment, especially when meeting anyone in person.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Akai ito a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute it solely to operate and improve the App. You represent that you have the rights to the content you post and that it does not violate these Terms or any law. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

6. Safety & Reporting

If you encounter behaviour that violates these Terms, please use the in-App report and block features, or contact support@akaiito.in. We review reports and may take action including warnings, content removal, suspension, or permanent removal of accounts. We may also disclose information to law enforcement where we believe it is necessary to protect users or the public.

7. Paid Features

Some features may be offered on a paid or subscription basis. Prices and inclusions will be shown before purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; Akai ito does not store full card details. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing or features on a prospective basis with notice.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from the settings. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your conduct may harm other users, third parties, or Akai ito. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including content licences already granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Akai ito does not warrant that matches will result in any particular outcome, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Akai ito shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any user, arising out of your use of the App.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be made available in the App, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pune, India.
